Restormel Castle

Restormel Castle ruins are set on many acres of rolling parkland, making it the perfect picnic or dog walking destination on a sunny day.

This perfectly rounded castle is one of "four chief Norman castles" found in Cornwall, and visitors can easily picture what it would have looked like when intact many centuries ago. Thanks to careful preservation guests are able to walk around the very top of the castle, giving perspective to the now empty moat that surrounds the ruins and picturesque views of the farmland around.
