St Nectan's Glen
St Nectan's Glen is a tranquil woodland haven once thought to be home to the hermit Saint of the same name.
The beautifully clear River Trevillet flows through the valley over three waterfalls, with a quaint shop offering wellington boots for visitors to use and buy entry to the woodland walkway.
I adored the leafy green walk through the winding valley, adding to the stacks of flat stones in the riverbed and tied ribbons on the great "Clootie trees" along the path.

These beautifully bright trees decorated the way to the waterfalls, where huge rock-scapes created beautiful photo opportunities and the water thundered over head.
